FACILITATED PLAY SESSIONS
All play sessions are facilitated by an Early Childhood trained teacher and parent guide. During each session the environment is carefully prepared to inspire natural and meaningful play for your child and helpful parent guidance relating to the early years of parenting. These classes are inspired by principles of respectful parenting and natural child development. The content is evidence based and includes content of the Educaring/Pikler Approach and the Montessori method.
The environment is purposefully set up to invite babies to master their movements & actively explore a variety of developmentally appropriate concepts. Parents are encouraged to relax & observe their babies at play. Parenting topics are covered each week along with the opportunity for questions and answers. Topics include: Baby milestone development, sleep, caregiving routines, baby play and toys.
These classes allow active toddlers to direct their energy into free movement & active discovery of various concepts . They are safe to assert their independence & experiment with social interactions with their peers. Parents are encouraged to sit back & enjoy their toddlers at play. Topics include: understanding toddler conflicts, sleep, boundary setting, tantrums, toddler play, clear communication between parent and child.
